a battle between Schwarzenberg's Austrian Auxiliary Corps, Reynier's VII Saxon Corps and Tormasov's Russians!

This one should please Gunter!

Doing some research on it now as my knowledge is a bit hazy

Al ways liked a challenge me! :?
Doing the battle of Gorodetschna?

Nafziger gives an order of battle here for all three combatants.

It would be a very interesting battle for roleplaying!

Polotsk/Pulutsk would also be interesting, if you want some French redcoats, Bavarians, and a large-size Russian I Corps!
With Gen'l Custer Down in Mexico: Yes, one of the goals is to see how many times one can get him killed.

There was a little (18 page) booklet The Battle of Gorodeschna 12th August 1812 written by A Michael Sayce published by Hamlet Models Publications in 2002. I got mine from Caliver Books.

It contains a background to the battle, a couple of maps (strategic and battle), a narrative of the battle, orders of battle, a section on wargaming the battle which includes some what-ifs, and a bibliography.

Barry,

You may remember that I had bought five sets of BtLB markers the week before you introduced the new ones, well, a member of this site from Australia took them off my hands in return for some excellent Eureka miniatures including the "Napoleon at Arcola" set.

In recognition of your big five-oh this year, I have turned the little Napoleon figure into a two-man skirmish stand to be called "Young Barry" and this, along with the other five Eureka skirmish stands will make their debut at Whitburn.

So there...

See, you need an America event!

Clarence was talking about an American RtE Weekender around Christmas. Any chance of fruition?
