Brigade and Division Morale

Post by Baron » Sun Feb 28, 2010 11:34 am

Great set of rules, we've played a few small Divisional sized games so far and it seems as though they flow really well and will play very quickly.

One question came up around Brigade/Dvisional morale which does not seem to have been included. Is this a deliberate decision or are we missing something?

Many thanks,

Justin

There's no specific rule about Brigade or Division morale as it's not needed. Once you start to lose a few units in your Brigade you will quickly see that the rest of the Brigade will quickly become difficult to operate with due to lack of support. Leave it in the front line combat at your peril, that's why you should also keep Brigades in reserve. The same situation also applies to your Division, once you start losing Brigades your Division becomes much less effective. Most wargamers have a tendency to place everything in their front line whereas the rules give bonuses for keeping reserves and supporting your troops.

Hope this helps?
