BUA's Clarifiaction

Post by John Michael » Sun Jan 09, 2011 6:26 pm

I find the BUA discussion in the rulebook is one of the most useful and interesting parts. The whole concept of fixed scale BUA's in most rulesets really makes it almost impossible to use all those beautiful terrain pieces that are available. To look at the terrain piece as being representative rather then actual is quite clever.

I had one question though about the table on page 109. Hougoumont is a sized 3 complex and thus can be garrisoned by 6-12 combat groups (max of 960 men), I am presuming that this refers to the building complex only and not the walled formal gardens. Likewise La Haie Sainte would have a maximum garrison of 480 men within the walled complex itself.

Thanks for the clarification.
