Jim, you have no idea how devious my ideas can be for special events, Barry and myself have already discussed quite a few for you if we go ahead with the scenario we have spoken about

That's settled it then: I'm bringing my mortar for the Shooty-Bang-Bang Really Big Balls phase.

You had better bring a big sledge to drag it through the snow

Gentlefolk,

I hate to ask but, is anyone heading through Motherwell on their way to Whitburn this Sunday?

Regards,

Jim

My holiday time in Prague has been well used... to hatch a dastardly scenario for Whitburn!

It will be tough if you are French.......................

Tougher if you are Russian.................

Gentlefolk,

BAD NEWS: I stumbled at work yesterday and overnight my back has gotten worse. It looks as if I may have slipped my disc again so, much to my disappointment, I will not be able to attend on Sunday and I was looking forward to it so much. I called the doctor and he has confined me to bed with a combination of Tramadol for the pain and Valium to relax the muscles and if that doesn't remind me of the sixties, then at least it should give me some serious flashbacks to them.

It's an ill wind so, since I have already paid for the day, I would appreciate it if Barry could organise an extra player (Callum?) to take my place at my expense.

I hope you all enjoy the day.

Regards,

Jim

You will be sorely missed Jim but it's just as well you're not coming with your bad back as you would have difficulty bending over to take your special events up the a**

Get well soon!

That is a shame Jim we'll miss you.
Unfortunately Paul is also unable to join us now tomorrow and sends his apologies to all.

Never fear, we shall report on the outcomes of the Fight for France and MAY even revisit it in a larger way in August ....

Jim will PM you soon but today is alas my 50th birthday and so I have some pressing commits with the family

Barry,

Many happy returns, young man, and take it from me, it's all downhill from now on. I dedicate the following wee poem to you:

Your birthday is a happy day,
Full of fun and frolicks.
Unless you've hit the big Five-O,
Then it's just a load of bollocks...
