Can someone please give the R2E recommended base size for a 28mm French Line Horse Artillery section of 1 gun model and 4 gunners? Thanks!

Hi,

Welcome to the forum. Ask and someone will answer. In this case I am the One  .

RtE recommends 60mm wide and 80-100mm in depth. About 200mm behind the guns the space should be filled with limbers, caissons or similiar.

Hope that helps.

Thanks Gunter: Does Horse Artillery occupy the same WIDTH in R2E as Foot Artillery?

That would be the same. But if you are going for basing only the gunner and putting the guns without a base on the table you can use the recommended basesize as a hint how wide the battery should be.

Hope that helps
