Question is what is the best book to get on heraldry for the crusades as you know i create flags so i would need a really good book with plenty of pictures ect.
Another good question is when did the first book written about heraldry come out, was wondering about this because of the crusades...is the crusades mostly about guess work and speculation and improvising for my wargame figures ?
