Conflict between the Swedes and their various neighbours between 1670s and 1721. Including topics on Danes, Saxons, Saxon-Polish, Russians and anyone else the boys in blue were mixing it with!

Just wanted to share a picture of the latest addition to my Scanian War collection. The Royal Danish Horse Guard as they could have looked on that cold clear morning, 4th Dec 1676 at the Battle of Lund.

I've painted them wearing their prescribed red coats and added some cloaks with the king's monogram using green stuff. The Horse Guard might also have worn collets at Lund, and I'll follow this unit up by painting another wearing just that.

Thanks for the kind words everyone - appreciate it. These were really great fun to do, with the added sculpting - first time I worked with Green Stuff, much easier than I had feared.
