just seen on Osprey;s website a forthcoming book in the Men at Arms series No 529 Armies of the GNW 1700-1720, cover illustration looks good, this should be released end Oct/early Nov 2019

Thank you for the heads up. This sounds promising but almost harks back to old school Osprey when they attempted to cover large and complex conflicts in a single volume. In this case, 48 pages to cover the armies of "Russia, Sweden, Denmark, Saxony, Prussia, Hanover, Holstein, Poland-Lithuania, Cossacks, Ottoman Turks, Moldavians, Wallachians & Tatars"... :!:

I do like the various Osprey series but think it needs much more space to do it justice.

very true about trying to cover all nations in GNW but if it awakens interest in the period so much the better
