looking for information on the Danish Grenadier Corps

Conflict between the Swedes and their various neighbours between 1670s and 1721. Including topics on Danes, Saxons, Saxon-Polish, Russians and anyone else the boys in blue were mixing it with!

looking for information on the Danish Grenadier Corps

Post by raggedroyalist » Sat Dec 14, 2019 3:44 pm

Hello, can anyone help with the following please?

uniforms for the Danish Grenadier Corps drummers and officers

did the Danish Grenadier Corps carry colours into action?

does anyone have any information of the cartridge/grenade pouches carried by them in action- plain or decorated? If decorated how so?

thanks for any advice and help

I have a copy of the following pdfs which provide quite a bit of information:

DANISH UNIFORMS, COLOURS AND STANDARDS 1675-1679 by Olaf Hasselager and Torstein Snorrason.

DANISH UNIFORMS 1699-1712 by Torstein Snorrason.

If you PM me at Phil(dash)Carrington(at)virginmedia(dot)com, I would be more than happy to send
a copy.

Nice to see another Wulfrunian !

Cheers,
