Ha! Mass combat for Donnybrook... You simply substituted bases for models? I have to admit with all of variations I've done on this game, I haven't tried that... Well done! The games must seem like bloody affairs with stands being removed rather quickly, but I could see using the roster to record casualties/reduced combat ability and maybe not removing models until a unit is at half strength...

Hmmm... Now the wheels are turning... Great! That's what I needed... ANOTHER project!

I think you made the right call on the table size with the increased foot print of the units.

Thanks !

Yes indeed one ordinary mini by the rules was turned to a base, and it worked realy fine.

Was no problem removing the bases in a quite rapin speed, I to have thought about using a casulty marker for the unit and not remove it untill they route, but I think I keep to the casualty removal for the next game.

I feelt the table a bit large, but it might have been depending on the scenario. any way we stick to the size in our planed monday game.

Looking forward to see your new Multibased Donnybrook force Clarence :D

Best regards Michael

I have to finish single based Donnybrook forces first... Shut up, Barry!

(All of my games have been with Napoleonics and Colonial Africa)

Napoleonics...Might also have to give them a try for my sleepy Finnish War 1809 project...and please let me know when you start to work on the napoleonic source book to and we might be able to get some nordic flavor in that to:)

Wonderful stuff Michael. You are really pushing the boundaries on Donnybrook which in itself will prompt Clarence and I to publish more material... well done on getting us moving too!
