Nap's Rules

Post by Paul Hicks » Mon May 22, 2006 6:27 pm

Hi Guys

Just getting started on the rocky road of 28mm Naps.

What is the best set of 'Fast Play" rules that give a good feel of the period.

Thanks

Paul

Hi Paul,

there are so many sets of rules for Naps. What level of game are you hoping to play?

Brigade level?
Division?
Corps?
Army?

This will influence recommendations I think

If you want a fun orientated fast play set with one unit = one bataillon, i would recommend the napoleonic Version of the Larry Brom rules by the Jackson Gamers. Random but simple movement, random morale, action orientated combat - i like the rules. You can google for the rules in the WWW or send me a PM with your email for a more streamlined simplified homemade version.
