I would try 'The Flag Dude'. He has many images for the WSS and if he doesn't have the one you want but you can provide him a picture of what you need he'll make you up one. I would pay the extra for his 'cloth' flags. I'm putting them on all of my WSS units plus I order my flags that are more for a 40mm figure so they are a bit oversized but he can make them pretty much in almost any size you want. Each of my flags costs me 10 (USD) but I think they are worth it. Each flag will come with it's own pole and finial but you can order them without that if necessary but the price doesn't change.

He'll be at Salute so if you can make it then stop by and talk with him. If he's got one of his 54mm ACW cloth flags, take a close look at it. The colors are incredible. Tell him I sent you! Ok, maybe that's not a good idea.

Ray,

I'm guessing you've not been to his new site. Take a look and I think you'll find more than ACW & Napoleonics. Trust me, he has WSS & SYW flags and as I stated before he'll gladly print one up for you if you can provide the information he needs. I have a 54mm set of Prussian SYW flags (IR27) that I'm going to put on a 40mm Sash & Saber command group and I love it (it is the cloth I mentioned earlier).

Ray,

Just as a note I currently have WSS French flags for Picardie, Bourbon, Perri Corse, Cuirassier du Roi, ALL OF THE MAISON DU ROI, and I'll be adding more as I switch from GMB to The Flag Dude. I put 4 flags per battalion as well, in cloth!

Ray sorry I missed your last post and of course the superb pictures of the new unit. Congrats on that they are fantastic!

R2E.... I think July. I have a couple of other projects in the pipe before it comes out.. watch this space.

By the way Gang, saw first hand the new Copplestone figures(painted) yesterday at SALUTE. Had a word with Mark also. So glad to see he has reprised his masterworks for Dixons all those years ago.

These new figures are so elegant. The poses, clothing styles and anatomy are beautiful. It will probably give the period yet another little adrenalin shot...

Alas Hu.. I have no pics as they were in his cabinet... I think however they did sell like hot cakes so no doubt they will appear at an 'adult site' nearby very soon

Those are fantastic Ray, absolutely love the detail! I hope Front Rank would do a range of GNW miniatures.

How did you do the flags? I suppose they are made out of paper?

Do you use the recommended base sizes for BLB, I found it hard to fit the Front Rank miniatures on the 45mm frontage?

Ray,

What paint manufacturer do you use for the flesh? I'm having the hardest time finding a combination I like. Those are some of the most beautiful FR WSS painted figures I've seen so far. Thank you.
