Hi Barry,

Excellent new's and can't wait to own my copy.
Please confirm with me that you are handing over 50 copies of the rules to Ray and Mark of Reiver Castings on your trip home on Tuesday night.
I've pre-ordered from them and hope to have my copy on Wednesday yipee
May I say a big Thank You to Clarence and Barry for their very hard work on producing these rules for myself and all the others interested in the horse and shot period.I think the rules will be fundamental in launching the period 1660 - 1721 to wargamers in a big way and we should now see more games being played at show's and the like.
I hope the rules are a massive success and you go on to produce not only "Republic To Empire" your napoleonic rules, but also some supplement books on the wars of the period with OOB's of major battles and a few scenario's within.

Many Thanks Again..........Ray.

What a nice post Ray. On behalf of Clarence and I let me say thanks for all the suggestions, enthusiasm and lively encouragment we've had through this very forum :D
I can confirm that the rules will be with Mr Jobling PM tomorrow. I have a carload right now and after an overnight stop in the Midlands and a days work tomorrow I will wing my way north via Washington Services!!

Bonus for eveyone is the extremely high quality full colour laminated and picture illustrated playsheet which comes with BLB. I hadn't seen that until today and must say I was mightily impressed! :D

Look forward to hearing hat you all think of the rules when you get your copies.

Best

B

Barry

Great to hear the rules are soon to be sent out. Being a complete luddite I went to your shop and paid by Paypal but was expecting to enter my address for delivery. I think I must have done something wrong because I never got the option. I am no doubt a complete idiot but could you check to see whether you've got the payment. My address for delivery is 2 Fletcher Grove, Knowle, Solihull, West Midlands B93 0PG.

Cheers

Andy Robinson

PS I'll give Dean a kick in case he hasn't ordered yet!

Thanks Barry. I'm relieved to find I'm not a complete idiot after all!

As for JimmiGoggles I suspect he is being distracted by Little JimmiGoggles!! I'll still kick him though...

Andy

PS I meant to say the rules look stunning! Well done guys! Can't wait to get my hands on them.

Hello Barry,

Well I've Got Them!!! :D The new rules "Beneath The Lily Banners" which I purchased today from Mark and Ray of Under The Bed Enterprises and Reiver Castings and may I say well worth the £15.00.
From the front cover to the back cover the printing, art work, photo's, drawings, scenarios, playsheet and rules themselves are outstanding.
What a beautiful and well produced set of rules and a must to any wargamer interested in the period.

Best Wishes........Ray.

Hopefully you got my address Barry. I sent a message with the payment to another address rather than my home one.

Looking forward to receiving the rules, it might even inspire me to increase the size of my armies.

Thanks Barry, I guess like all the others in here I am really looking forward to this one. With any luck it will bring this undergamed period to a wider audience

I've finally fought my way through Paypal  and placed an order. Pretty big of me as I don't even game the period ... but I'm still interested in seeing the rules!

Now about those Napoleonic rules .....

Keep up the good work chaps. 8)

I too am looking very forward to R2E (I just finished painting my third 36-man French line battalion and ordered the fourth). I'm scribbling ideas for illos already, but there are no concrete plans for organized work yet. I think the R2E manuscript is much farther along than BLB when we started on that, but I won't make any predictions. Let us bask in the glory of BLB for a wee bit. :D

Clarence,

Some of us (myself included) are not at all interested in that Napoleon fellow.

By the way, we will be playing another "Victory Without Quarter" game later today.
