I have managed to get a last minute table at Wappinshaw so I'll stick on a BLB game :D

Hi all,

Hope the show went well, sorry I missed it, but I had to work today and I was even more gutted when I saw Barry's post saying he was putting a BLB game on.
Still I'll be at Salute next week for the third year running and looking forward to it. :D

Regards...........Ray.

Actually didn't take any pics at the show Stuart (as I was under the table stuffing envelopes  )no, really BLB was beingsold by Under the Bed Ent and by all accounts they were very pleased with the quantity shifted (and the associated LEAD 8) ). The game was my dress rehearsal for PARTIZAN so you'll see it then!

Angus Konstam was providing background hummed flute music and throwing oranges... there is a hint

I took some pics but have been too buisy to blast them through photo-shop. I'll post them as soon as I have time.

Game was lovely. Especially loved Williams troops wading accross the Boyne. Superb presentation!!

Cheers,

Darrell.

Thanx Darrell... but how did I miss you?? You didn't say hello or were you the chap with the mini tripod??? Maybe you did say your name but I am a bit mutt 'n jeff !

Some guy had come to the table earlier in the day, was from Edinburgh and started talking about painting HYW figs. When I asked him if his name was Darrell he looked at me rather strangely and walked away!!!!

Ah, I had my long suffering girlfriend with me and I had already told her that we can go shopping (ie Lady shops) very soon, so didn't really have much time to introduce myself. Oh, and that was me with the mini tripod :D .

You mean there's another guy in Edinburgh who's into Late Medieval? Who, where..... got my blood up now! Must hunt him down  .

Actually that reminds me, I really ought to ask Dave O'brien for a game.

I'll send the pics as soon as I've got time to snazz them up a little.

Cheers,

Darrell.

PS. Game looked great. I like the way that the TSS(?) terrain had been given some embelishment. That stuff can look really boring, so good way of producing a surface that looks the business. My way of saying..... how did you achieve that look?
