Army size in NYW and WSS

Hello together,

I would like to know in which of the two wars the armies (field armies and in total size) where bigger? Was it in the NYW or in the WSS? I always thought it would be the later one but if recall rigth, i.e. John Lynn was of another opinion. Maybe some one can help me with that, especially with some rough numbers regarding army size.

I thought I read or heard somewhere that Neerwinden/Laden was the largest pitch battle fought in Europe up to the Napoleonic Wars.
