ULB Command Question

When considering which units to move when a commander may only move a percentage of his force, say 50%, do you count squadrons and battalions or higher formations?

OOB in four "divisions":

Center
Infantry Brigade of three battalions

Left Wing
Cavalry Regiment of three squadrons
Cavalry Regiment of two squadrons

Right Wing
Cavalry Regiment of two squadrons
Cuirassier Regiment of two squadrons

Reserves
Infantry Brigade of two battalions
Dragoon Regiment of one squadron

Each "division" would have a sub-commander on the table-top, for looks if nothing else.

Would the C-in-C issue orders to two "divisions", 3 (I rounded down) brigades/regiments, or 7 battalions/squadrons?

Hi Clarence,

7 or 8 battalions/squadrons. Count the total number of Battalions and squadrons and take the percentage of that. Round up or down on a 50% die roll.

Brigadiers per Brigade - tey are useful if attached to a unit(squadon or battalion) for morale and for keeping units under command radius.

cheers
