Clarence:

Thank you for the response. I just wanted to make certain I was at the proper venue to keep tabs on developments. Will check your blog periodically as well.

Have been waiting a few decades for some good 1685-1698 figures, these certainly look the part for me.

Cheers,

Michael

Juan, here's Barry''s latest post under the Beneath Lilly Banners section

"The good news: we have already seen the first cavalry and artillery figures as well as further grenadiers.
The launch news: we realistically think end July or August for first 'commercial' activity...."

Hope this answers your question?
Cheers

Thank you very much, Dave. I have been thinking about to create my collection with the Front Rank miniatures but these from Warfare Miniatures have something "special" (and are not so BIG).

So I´m going to sit and wait reading the rulebook :D

Hi All,

I just wanted to say a "BIG THANK YOU" for all of the best wishes.

I'm getting better all of the time & moving on with the LOA Miniatures project as part of the recovery process as they are very important to me.

The First release is nearly in sight, as we are getting the production moulds made just now for the first releases (News Soon) just keep an eye out on the fourum.

Again many Thanks for all the get wells
Cheers

That is great to hear. I do hope that I/we weren't sounding mercenary here.

When I first saw the images of your figures, painted, it took my breath away after all these years. Typical wargamer brain's reaction "Finally, these are the miniatures (i have been waiting for), gotta have those"!

I hope that your work will be the perfect therapy for you. Meanwhile I will (very) anxiously await getting the first figures in hand.

Very best to you.

Cheers,

Michael

Photos of the first 9 packs will appear on the site very soon. This will be followed by a Pre Order date and prices. Initially ordering will be done here on the LoA site until the WARFARE site is fully commissioned at the end of July 2011.

I had the first of the Horse in my hot little hand this week and I can say that they are very fine indeed and I personally can't wait for the Horse!

I have been painting up some test castings over the last week and that has convinced me to actually finish a Jacobite Irish Army.

I didn't manage to go to Historicon Joe for a wide variety of reasons:

Work commits, Clarence's work, personal stuff for both of us, the Wargaming projects with Wordtwister and Warfare, 2 x 50th Birthdays and our 25th wedding anniversary... so, Valley Forge,PA will have to wait till 2012!!

I am sure you'd much rather I spent time and energy getting this range to market that drinking Ying Ling and eating Philly Cheesesteak Heart Attack in a bun wargaming fodder!!!!!

50th Barry,

I have seen pictures of you on the web in wargaming conventions and of course the link on your site on TV.

I thought you were around 40ish.

Jim,

I am cut to the quick. Edward was speaking the plain truth. The air in EK is so fresh and my life has been so pure. I cannot be held responsible for the fact that Oscar Wilde based Dorian Gray on your biography
