MacDonalds Flag

Post by quindia » Sat Aug 18, 2012 2:40 pm

While working on Jacobite Scots flags, I couldn't help notice that one of the MacDonalds was missing...

Ok, I am really, really sorry... really...

I couldn't sleep and was up all night working on flags and am feeling a little punchy...

Bad, Quindia!

Maybe if James had had that kind of commercial and PR backing it would have been a different story...

And well you might be...particularly when wags begin adding them to their armies.

From on-board OED:

wag2 n. informal
– ORIGIN C16 (denoting a young man or mischievous boy): prob. from obs. waghalter ‘person likely to be hanged’.

Of course the above would apply to none among this company... 8)

Cheers,

Michael

The Glorious Revolution may have just become more complicated......

A third claimant to the throne is reported to have landed near Sandwich.

Heck Clarence,

Come up with another fast food period specific parody and you guys could release another colonel and regimental standards sheet. Colonel Sander's Regiment of Foot comes to mind.

I personally don't know where the beef is in this discussion. To me it seems to be just an empty sandwich.

One King is reckoned to have been a chicken whose dad had definitely had his chips.
The second always went Dutch
And the fat French bloke had gone large too many times eating Le Big Mac and Freedom Fries.................

My wife will faint at the sight of that given her Scottish ancestory. Me with my sense of humor and Irish ancestory love it.
