New here!

Post by jambo1 » Sun Oct 20, 2013 5:21 pm

Hello all, I am new here and the wealth of knowledge on here is staggering!
I have just started to wargame this period, not a great wargamer in the past, bit of Flintloque, bit of Warhammer and an interest in Napoleonics. Found myself bidding and winning some Foundry packs and here I am!! Every time i put something in google this site seemed to crop up and I have been reading the boards avidly. I am not a great painter but I am just about ready to start painting up the first of my minis. Please bear with me if I ask the most obvious of questions and I will try not to inundate you all with too much.
cheers
Donnie

Welcome to the Forum, you'll find a great welcome and a fountain of knowledge here...

Not sure if there's anyone in your area, I'm Aberdeen and know there are a few folk in this area as well as someone in Grantown.

We were all rookies ourselves, there are no silly questions!

Which nationality and conflict has taken your interest?

Aye it is pretty deserted up here if into wargaming, but I am happy enough to work on my own and play solo, so not much of a problem. As for period, I think early as I love pikes!! Playing the later period will make me lose any pike regiments and that would be a body blow!! :D
