I think the Ireland book will be useful for ANY rule set!

Partizan was a blast today. The rules got a huge amount of interest and the Skane Wars setting was a refreshing change.

Thanks to those who stopped by.

As Barry mentioned the game and rules generated a huge amount of interest at Partizan and I was also nobbled at the Newcastle show the day before with a number of people asking about the rules as well as BLB and Donnybrook seemed to have a large number of followers with many of the using the rules for other periods than we produced in the rules. I've asked a number of them to post and details or photos of their games either on the forum or on the blog.
Cheers

Barry,

I generaly like the idea of larger units in smaller battles. Easier to manage I believe. Do you think the rules, with some modification, maybe used for TYW too?

Also I would like to know if you intend to introduce us to them at Derby in October?

In my case It would be quite easy to doubble up the "Battalions" from 3 to 6 Bases as my Regiments have mostly 2 Battalions of the same Colour.
I can imagine how nice they would look with 6 flags in the Center and 2 Stands left and right or even just twice the normal depth.

Following with interest this thread.

Hello Gunter,

I am considering whether to run a game at Derby, the schedule we have is already ambitious but there is a possibility that we will set up a table for people to sample the new rules. Logistics and time are the challenges not troops!

The games are fast and fun with a strong flavour of the period. Watch this space 8)

About the adaptability of this future Ruleset for small fights in the TYW...?
