Dutch NYW guard draoons

So I have some plates of these, But I can't decide if the uniforms are supose to be grey or black but just painted greyish to show the uniform?
If it helps, Barry has them down as Slate gray with Black Cuffs, I have painted up two stands of them and they look really good
