Simply stunning. The incredible detail and wonderful colours.

But, its only when you reach the last but one photo that you realise the scale of this project.

What a great find! I want to go there immediately! It is a timely reminder of how important ships and the marine were in our period for transport of men materials, supplies. Our 17th century world revolved around shipping. In fact you couldn't really get anywhere without it. Trade and War depended on the strength, quality and efficiency of the marine. There is so much scope for gaming and scenarios with combined operations in Ireland, Flanders and in Canada. This is mouth-watering stuff. Thanks Barry for the link.
