Battles of the Franco-Dutch war

Post by dashing blade » Mon May 15, 2017 4:03 pm

I've scoured the internet and can find very few battle maps for the Franco-Dutch war. I'm really interested in the battle of Cassel. Any help please!
(The historical evidence that God comes from Lancashire is slim, however he's definitely not from Yorkshire)

I've had a look on the excellent 'AD 1672' site and come across a page which might give you some pointers :

Hope this helps,

Here are also a few pictures of this event

starting with map 60 up to 64
„Macht Euch Euren Dregg alleene“

"Sort your filth out by yourself!" The King of Saxony Friedrich August III., at his abdication 1918, referred to the quarrels in the parliament and the squabbling within the provisional government.
