Wargamers guide to the Williamite Army at Aughrim

Post by barr7430 » Tue Mar 13, 2018 12:47 pm

We are just about to release a nine series pdf set on the above topic:

1. Modelling the Williamite Army and its senior officers
2. The English & Welsh Infantry
3. The Irish Infantry
4. The Dutch Infantry
5. The English & Irish Cavalry
6. The Dutch Cavalry
7. The Huguenot Infantry and Cavalry
8. The Danish Brigade

I have incorporated as much as possible the capmaign histories of each regiment together with details of their officers, dress and equipment between their formation and 1714. I don;t think anything has been done quite like this before so hopefully those interested and who like our pdfs will get some benefit from the research. It's a book's worth of material - 20k words +

Should be available in a week or so.

The idea was to take all of the info from all of the disparate sources and bring it together in a form that didn't make the reader feel like he or she had just eaten a full packet of Jacob's Cream Crackers - if that makes sense.
