Post by chema1986 » Fri Feb 15, 2019 9:29 am

Hello guys,

If you are interested, I have updated my blog with a compilation of various artists (old and new) about Spanish tercios in several wars like: The War of Devolution, Franco Dutch War, War of 1683, and League of Augsburg War.

I hope you like it.

Wow that's great

The 1700 walloon tercio the musketeer in the creamy, beige/brown coat, is that what the French were using in the 1680-90s?. As I've seen some paintings were the uniform is definitely not grey like you see in the 1700s

thanks mate! Mmmm I am not sure about that... there seems to be a lot of different shades of greys and beige in the "off white" coats.
