£1.99 Panzer

Dear Barry, just had a look at the excellent £1.99 panzer in the gallery section! Do you know what make the model was and which department store stocks them? Many thanks, Simon

Others have asked me about the make but unfortunately it was not on the model.
These were bought from one of those open trays near the payment counter in which you normally find low value items. There were two types of model as far as I can remember - this type MkIV and an out of scale Abrams.
I bought them in a department store called Fenwicks in Carlisle. I know they can be found in various 'toy shops' they are not serious wargaming models which is why they are such good value!!!!! Scel wise probably 1/56th. Rubber motion wheel underneath and a turret that only move in a 15 degree arc when you wind up the friction motor but what the hell - can YOU tell from the photo???? :wink:
