As part of our sporadic WWII+70 refights we played out the Battle of Savo Island on Tuesday Evening at Maelstrom Games using General Quarters:

That's just the 28mm stuff, I'm not even going to start on the other scales.

I have played the original version (GQI&II) quite a bit but not the more recent ones & was wondering about the differences between the editions. I am thinking of upgrading & dragging my 1:3000th ships out again.

I used to play a lot of GQI & II and held of GQIII for a long time, but they are very good.
A few differences from the old system, but if you are used to them then you will soon get into the rhythm of the new rules.
I'd not played for several months, but after a couple of turns, they had come right back.
