understandable as he experiences it so often
Yet more tabloid journalism from Frenchy!
Only the French could take a score of 10-5 against them as a victory
They'll be telling us next that they won at Waterloo
Cheers

Peter, recalculated the French cav. 31 regiments = 372 models = 7440 men.
Russians - 32 regiments - 450 models = 9000 men

Where were all these Russian cavalry????
I can only assume you are classing Cossacks as cavalry
There were two regiments of cavalry on the Utitsa flank, 5 regiments of cuirassiers on the two central tables and the remainder were stuck on the far side of the river facing Borodino and there were about 10 of them which is why we kept asking about 2nd and 3rd cavalry Corps.
Looking forward to seeing your pics and seeing how much Russian cavalry you have managed to photoshop into position
all mine, Angus' and Peters remained in their boxes.
Cheers
Dave

I see Frenchy has posted his first photo of his 'victory' as is plain to see the French must have been terrified with the mass of Russian cavalry waiting for them unlike the paltry French cavalry reinforcement that's arrived.

For those interested you can follow the story of the game here
http://www.leagueofaugsburg.com/gallery ... y-396.html
I have created a speical gallery section and split it into 4 sub galleries each covering the action on one of the four tables. The Great Redoubt Gallery is complete and the Semenovsoye gallery has started..

Dave and I hope we didn't frighten anyone with our slanderous pot shots at each other
Both guns are loaded with rubber suction cups only and as Dave's shooting is as good as his Russian Jagers he hasn't hit the target yet!!!! Whereas, mine, well we are French Voltigeurs and we always hit our target
Now did I tell you that I captured Kutusov...... no yawning at the back there

Thank you for the clarification Gunter. I did notice a lot of Muppets wearing green and none of them were called Kermit

Gunter, I knew the real meaning of Frenchy, in Scotland it's also a slang term for a French Letter or condom as it is commonly know but I'm sure Barry has been called worse
Don't take any of these comments seriously it's just good natured banter.
Cheers
