What rules do you guys use for BoB games?

We use Contemptible Little Armies, by Chris Peers with a couple of minor alterations.

Thanks, Dave. I have those around somewhere. I'll have to take another look at them. I have used Chris' Darkest Africa rules since they were in Wargames Illustrated but I am not crazy about the melee resolution of compared die rolls for each pair of combatants. I'll give CLA another look...

I really hope I don't have to write another set of rules... :roll:

Arrgh. CLA has basically the same melee rules... oh, well...

I still think rolling against each other is the nearest wargaming can come to real combat. (An old critic of Larry Brom on new combat systems that take away the tension of die rolling.)

If you have problems with the numbers of close combats; i dont think that with the fire power of the 1920th there will be to many.
