The only two Chandlers I know are Jeff (Merrill's Marauders) & Chandler from Friends 8)

Picking up on the threads form the Web Site being down -

Nice surprise awaited me on return from "Targe".
The Post had delivered a rather substantial package to our abode.
It is quite a large piece of Resin - which for comparison sakes, I shall bring down next Saturday. The model from "Britannia" is humungous, so much so, that the "The Little General" (Pirate) has sued for peace and wants to turn Privateer and join "MY" side.

Nice to see you guys, and thanks to you all for helping make "Targe" the huge success it was on the day - appetite has now been whetted for Waterloo,

and Mr Jack - you're a hero :!:

March 2007 date

Post by sharnydubs » Tue Nov 14, 2006 2:18 pm

Tentative date for the 2007 Pirate game is March 17th & 18th at the Heugh Hotel in Stonehaven.

Please let me know if this doesn't work for anyone.

Peter, I have enough trouble arranging things for a week ahead but as far as I know these dates should be OK for me especially as my wife is off again to the USA in Feb. for two weeks so I should have earned more than enough brownie points.

See you tomorrow

Pirate Game

Heugh Hotel is booked for Saturday 17th March / 18th March 2007. Apparently Sunday 18th March is Mother's day.

Heugh have rooms available and will discount for our party. Contact Kevin and tell him you're coming for the wargames weekend. 01569-762379

We will have the private dining room for Saturday lunch and dinner and the Private snug bar for Sunday lunch.

Pirate Game

As discussed last weekend we will be using the LofA pages for regular communication updates on the forthcoming game.

Given the size of the venue , places may be at a premium so I would appreciate everyone's full commitment to letting me know whether they plan on attending or not.

My wife still can't believe I'm planning for this next game when we've only just finished the last one. As they say "the line between pursuing a hobby and insanity is very thin indeed !"

Hi Peter, just to confirm that myself, Colin and Angus will be attending. We mentioned the invitation to Angus last night at the club and he's off to build a pirate ship.

Hi Guys,

Yes Please, confirmation of moi, and "the Navy"

I also have 3 arab dhows - crewless. If anyone has arab figures, baluchi's, afghans, for example, this could provide a small squadron of "arab slavers", or barbary pirates.

Hi folks,

Count me in too please. I shall now go and consult that little known but classic work "How To Be A Better Pirate" by O.B. Beastly.
