Just joined the forum so i thought i'd say hi!
I've recently invested in BTLB2 and splashed out for a load of Pendraken 10mm LOA figures. This whole period is very new to me so i'll probably be popping up occasionally asking stupid questions if no one minds too much
Cheers
Simon

Simon,
A hearty welcome. You're not related to John Major are you?

Having just joined the forum also, I feel I should follow Goat Major's polite example and say hello. I have been using Fighting Talk as a guest for Napoleonic info for a while and decided to ask to join as I enjoyed the atmosphere and attitudes of the locals. I have found some sites a little 'tense' for Napoleonic discussion but this seems like an open minded place (though I may tread carefully when mentioning squares!). I also enjoy Barry's contributions to Wargames Illustrated. I'm currently trying to find the time to paint up my own Russians and Italians for 1812 having relied on other's figures in the past (I supply the WWII stuff and some ACW).
All the best, Steve

Hi Simon. I have to admit that I just live in 'The Jewel' I don't hail from there. I am, as my work colleagues refer to me (in a friendly way), a 'Jock'. Probably another reason I like this forum as there's a few of us about!
Sorry for hijacking your post by the way, I just thought it was a good idea of yours to say hello.
Cheers
