Dear All,

I have been quiet on the Lundin Links front for a while as we've been concentrating on the Derby Weekender in March. I did however want to test the appetite for an event at Lundin Links sometime during the May- September period. If there is enough interest we can of course get something on the calendar so let us know if you are up for a bit of Fife hospitality and mayhem on the gaming tables.. 8)

Well I know Jim a.k.a. Coffindodger and myself were interested in a BLB2 game at the Lundin Links this year. Usually theres two weekenders per year at this venue, because of Derby does this mean it's going to be retricted to one weekender :?:
For cost reason's I'd prefer as late as possible, October perhaps :D give me more time to save my pennies.

Cheers,

Ray.

Ditto, just so long as there are no holiday clashes.

If it's BLB, and Holidays/shift rota permit, I'd certainly be interested.

Tam and I will definitely come in October. Tam unfortunately had family commitments for the date in March or we would have been there.

Dave Imrie has some info that might scupper these plans but just needs to find a suitable time to speak to Barry.
Cheers

Nothing planned yet Ray, all of our efforts are going into the rather large Derby weekender.Once that is over we will start to think about other events.

Thanks Bob,

I've just received word that the Lindin Links hotel may be demolished, which was a shock as this was a great venue.
I'm not sure if this is correct as I thought the hotel was a listed building.
That poor ghost is going to be made homeless

Cheers,

Ray.

Ray, that is part of the story that D.I. had heard and that houses were going to be built on the area but he was trying to confirm the story from the hotel. As you say it was/is a great venue and they have been very good to us over the last few years and they will be missed if the rumours are true.
Cheers

Issues of that nature take time. If we need a venue in Fife we'll find one.

Had more enquiries about getting something organized over the Summer in Scotland so it looks like we'll have to get the finger out and get organized. I need to talk with David Imrie, Toggy and Ade but we'll revert very shortly with something in terms of dates and hopefully the venue will be the Old Manor in Lundin Links.

Cheers
