as a backdrop/background for taking pics of you units? I recently painted up about 30 units in the past 4 months for my GNW project, and would like to take a nice picture with a decent background.

I was recently given Pinnacle Studio MediaSuite, which came with a "green screen" drop cloth...I though it would be cool to have a Russian country side, village, etc. or something to that effect to drop in the back ground of my units.

Suggestions?

Thanks.

I use a white backdrop to be honest but I am not the worlds best photographer so use something simple which suits my skill level

I use landscapes, found in the web (e.g. as wallpapers) and printed.
The effect is like this:

You're welcome, Redmist.
If you like my photos, you can find more on my blog. I've experimented with "real terrain" also - model trees, different walls and fences, using a light blue cardboard as a background.
I always put a kind of short fur on the table. It masks bases perfectly.

Only recently joined the forum, but thought I would mention that my local hobby shop (in UK) sells rolls of scenic paper, designed for model railways, which can be continuously joined together due to the way the scenery is repeated at then ends. These include village scenes, rolling countryside, lakes & mountains etc. There are also some blue sky (alternatives with cloud and without) which can be used to extend the height if required.

Maciek - very nice looking pics. I do like how you've set things up.
