Post by raggedroyalist » Sat Mar 24, 2012 1:47 pm

Hi All,
I'm looking for details on the battle of Hopton Heath, 19th March, 1643.

If anyone can send me in the direction of books, details of numbers or even units involved, would be fantastic

thanks in advance

Chas

There's a good article in the March 2006 issue of Wargames Illustrated magazine (No. 221) written by David Bickley, describing the battle, forces and numbers involved, and suggestions for wargaming it using Warhammer ECW rules.

Let me know if you can't access a copy.

David and Phil rave about the rules and made a useful little playsheet.
