Yesterday, the Sands of Time Campaign finished on an apocalyptic night in East Kilbride. In the midst of the worst thunder storm I've seen in years the Red Hordes tried in vain for the last time to close the pocket on the remnant of the German 4th Army near Minsk. Although the campaign has taken three and a half years to run it actually represented only six and a half days of real time. I hope to get the full thing in a readable form with scenarios, photos, battlereports, maps and orbats within a reasonable time.
I really enjoyed doing this as it gave a real focus to my wargaming effort over the last few years.
Thanks to all the players involved both remotely and in person over the three years : Clarence Harrison, Chris Steadman, Gary Barr, David Philip, Martin Terroni, Paul McLauchlin, Ian Beal, Gary White, David Imrie, Phil Olley, John Hill(1), John Hill(2), Ian Stewart, Dave Stewart, Tommy Rees, Peter McCarroll, Dougie Nichols, Alan Scott, Stephen McSporran,Lindsay Gauld, Gary Martin,Colin Grant and me because I ran severla games solo!! _________________ "If you think you can, or if you think you can't, you are probably right"

Hi,
it was a great game to finish up on and what a night.
I'll always remember the image of 20 T-34/76 swarming round the single Tiger.
Thanks again Barry and now it off to the ETO.

Same here! It was kind of fun just issuing orders and watching events unfold. Count me in anytime... _________________ Clarence
