WIP Dutch Army

OK, so after two years I've finally given in to having a section of the FORUM specifically set up to discuss painting techniques, display examples, show your latest projects and chat about this vital part of the hobby. Manufacturers please feel free to post up your sculpts, ask questions about what the gamers are after and generally promote your work.. no charge! Painters, please also feel free to post up your work for comment and critique. I can't promise the unreserved adulation characteristic of some other fora but I would hope you'd get constructive and measured comment!

Hi Jason,
They are great looking units. Really well painted. Where do you get your flags from?

Lovely, but might I just suggest a little paint (or felt-tip pen) around the edge of the flags to lose the white edge?

dry brushing the edges of flags with an appropriate colour usually works with printed flags tough is you do them of thin paper you dont get that much of a white edge in the first place

Hi Jason
Really like your paintjob and color choices, and the flags are superb ! it's a shame warfare miniatures' Flags does not produce other nation's flags for my Spanish and germans units because i love their size and color, and you have folded them realistically. Keep up with this good job

My C-in-C!

As i don't know real officers uniforms colors, i painted it like uniform on Rembrandt's paint that i love for my fun, maybe not realistic but i'm happy :D
I thank that last week during my holidays in Amsterdam (thank you Riskj Museum :) )

If you need more dutch flags , you should check "Adolfo Ramos" Flags , in his web site there is a section for Dutch regiments 1700-1715 . I Have several Spanish and French flags made by him.
Cheers
