Hesse-Kassel Regiments for my Blenheim 1704 Project

OK, so after two years I've finally given in to having a section of the FORUM specifically set up to discuss painting techniques, display examples, show your latest projects and chat about this vital part of the hobby. Manufacturers please feel free to post up your sculpts, ask questions about what the gamers are after and generally promote your work.. no charge! Painters, please also feel free to post up your work for comment and critique. I can't promise the unreserved adulation characteristic of some other fora but I would hope you'd get constructive and measured comment!

The term "filler" means what in the US marketplace? For that matter what is it in French, Swedish, Dutch, etc?

Inquiring minds want to know....

OK, so my over enthusiastic FILTH FILTER is kicking in on overdrive here!

The word missing is H O L E S which is banned! Newer members of the forum will not know about the - attacks we had years ago. As a result I locked myself in a room and downloaded every filthy, dirty word I could into the filth filter thus banning them all. Unfortunately my creativity has stymied normal conversation on occasion as a result. Words are enigmatically dropped from perfectly ordinary sentences rendering them like riddles!

I just did it to protect your delicate sensibilities ladies and gentlemen.

Re FILLER (could be turned in to something disgusting I know using an apostrophe and an English accent!) Think, plaster, tile grout, or similar if you are a Colonist! 8)

I love the story about the Scottish roadie going round a French market trying to find a vegetable vendor who speaks English.

Finally he approaches a fellow and asks again.

"Yes monsieur, a little" comes the reply.

"Braw, see's twa ay yer neeps"
