more Converged Grenadiers (Dixon miniatures)

OK, so after two years I've finally given in to having a section of the FORUM specifically set up to discuss painting techniques, display examples, show your latest projects and chat about this vital part of the hobby. Manufacturers please feel free to post up your sculpts, ask questions about what the gamers are after and generally promote your work.. no charge! Painters, please also feel free to post up your work for comment and critique. I can't promise the unreserved adulation characteristic of some other fora but I would hope you'd get constructive and measured comment!

more Converged Grenadiers (Dixon miniatures)

Post by chema1986 » Tue Apr 08, 2014 8:52 pm

Hello there Gentlemen, here are some more Converged Grenadiers... this time in French service for my French Army. This time I used Dixon miniatures, I really like them... very easy to paint and compatible with warfare miniatures or Foundry in my opinion, But not compatible with Front Rank and North Star 1672, so I will not mix them in the same unit but certainly i'll mix them in the same army.
Sorry for the pics' quality. I hope you like them.
Cheers!

When I saw your name there I thought, "Oh good, Chema's posted some new painting". I was not disappointed. Lovely work. :D

Always like the look Dixon has with their figures. Good looking unit. I especially like the rich blue color you used.

Many thanks Paul ! :)

Those Dixon figures are older than me but I really like their style and the plug bayonet posing! I have not seen any "modern" figure with this kind of pose, so that I chose them (and of course got inspired by all the pictures barry has in this site and BLB )

Thanks guys!
Cheers
