OK, so after two years I've finally given in to having a section of the FORUM specifically set up to discuss painting techniques, display examples, show your latest projects and chat about this vital part of the hobby. Manufacturers please feel free to post up your sculpts, ask questions about what the gamers are after and generally promote your work.. no charge! Painters, please also feel free to post up your work for comment and critique. I can't promise the unreserved adulation characteristic of some other fora but I would hope you'd get constructive and measured comment!

Quite obviously Gunfreak it's done by witchcraft!
(The historical evidence that God comes from Lancashire is slim, however he's definitely not from Yorkshire)

Superb. And as others have noted, the water is truly astonishing.

The next vignette I have planned for Fornovo is the Stradiots capturing Charles VIII's collection of erotic art/-. It's going to take a lot of converting as currently the Perry's don't do dismounted Stratiots (does anyone?) but bear with me..... If you're not interested in Late Medieval warfare it may well be worth keeping one eye on the thread as I aim to have the odd boobie etc showing in the captured books!

Sounds interesting, I'll look forward to some "Fallen Madonna" inspired work!

Really sorry for the late response to this post!! i was tracking through my 'Subscriptions' and discovered this.....
There will indeed be a "Fallen Madonna" type vignette to go with the others!
I'm currently working on Charles VIII being armoured just prior to the battle. The vignette just needs a lick of paint so it will hopefully be done soon.
