Barry - as a sneak-preview concerning your Napoleonic rules, please could you tell us how you base and organise skirmishers and light infantry units as a whole.

Sorry can't seem to log in via Member Login page. Newsletter page just has joining info - should there be anything else?

All the best

Hi Jonathan,

Skirmishers can be singly based or even a stand could be detached from parent body. Appropriate modifiers are taken by parent body as a result of the `detachment' More details soon!

Quickie on this..

Just rewritten the skirmishers use rules twice during the Flussgarten game/ rules test. Now have a very workable and effective system. Simple to operate and I'm much happoer with it. Thanks to the Skirmisher pioneers: Colin with his Austrian Jager, Schnapps with his Prussians and Andy Nicholson with his French. A table with 3,500 figures is a great proving ground for rule mechanisms!!!!
