The three Sturmgeschutz MkIIIg vehicles of Oberfeldwebel Rosen's Zug, were pivotal in ensuring the attack on Hill 91 ended successfully. All were lost near the summit in a savage burst of ground - air and melee fighting. They not only knocked out the British bunker position with accurate fire but literally wiped out a suicidal attack by Lieutenant Robertson's men who swarmed amidst their vehicles in a vain glorious effort to divert the Germans from their goal.
