OK so its not quite the holy hand grenade but this 6pdr battery within the siege lines around Avila was turned on the ravenous relief force of Marmont. It is manned by an all clerical team who were dubbed the Holy Battery. They were given Guard Resolve status but fought as ordinary mortals. They were eventually skewered on the bayonets of a French infantry attack but only after mowing down masses of French infantry. ALan Cuggy was ultimately the Priest Killer whilst Gerry Donohoe was in charge of the Killing Priests
