Use for the troops of Napoleon's Army and their Allies!
This set of markers allows you to control ALL aspects of artillery use during a game with Republic to Empire.
Artillery will have a limited amount of ammunition available to it during a game. This will range from 3-18 rounds. A series of small stacked cannon ball markers allow you to track the number of rounds available/used. 6 markers, one each with 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 balls will let players track shot use by placing them behind each battery.
These markers can also be used for demarcation of the 'off limits' zone behind each battery. For players who do not wish to paint up limbers and caissons this is a neat and low effort way to mark off the 'off limits' area.
Batteries must withdraw from the line to refit after four turns of firing. The amount of time out of the line can vary between 1 and 3 full turns. To make this easy to track this set contains three cannon wheel markers. Each has a number of spaces between the spokes 'blocked in' to monitor the number of turns refitting/remaining.
Bombardment can reduce hard cover and built up areas. A variable number of hits is required to do this. A set of 10 wall sections each with a differing number of hits stamped into it will allow you to track damage to hard cover targets! The cumulative number obtained by adding up all sections is 55 so one set should allow players to manage all but the biggest battles with a single set.
