Ginger,

there may be some refresh of the original musketeer codes but that is currently quite far down the list as we need to get out the Cuirassiers, Dragoons, Maison du Roi and various other new stuff before that. The whole idea of doing the original codes in different positions was to create the variation. The new apostle codes are 5 basic codes (same as before) but with 8 head variants per code. Hopefully you'll find something in there that you like!

Seen them in the shop & I love them indeed I am fighting myself about going and loading the online credit card & getting a few/lot. However I was wondering if the same procedure of heads swaps could be done on the original Warfare codes or at least some of them to give us even more variation in particular the Musketeer codes.

A couple of questions regarding apostles in the 1690's

First off does the use of matchlocks automatically mean that apostles were also used by individuals carrying these weapons? Particularly in units where flintlocks seemed to be mixed with matchlocks (as it appears was more common than not in Ireland)?

Secondly, (if the answer to the first question is yes) it seems that nearly all French, English, Irish and Dutch units would fall into the mixed category except perhaps guard and Danish units. If this is true will there also be apostle toting figures with appropriate poses released to mix with the advancing, marching and at ease figures with flintlocks that are already available?

Thanks,

Tim
