I can confirm that the books (but also the books on the armies of the smaller German States) are very good and worth the expense. For the French army you may consider the CD's from Bacchus with quite some material on them, but I prefer the books.

Hi Dave, I suggest you start to paint up some Danish units first. Plenty of reference on uniform via this site and the web. From there on you may chose the scanian wars (Danmark vs Sweden), or more versatile the Williamite war in Ireland. Danish troops served throughout the period with the Grand All...
