Re: Crisis 2013 figure

http://tsoa.be/images/crisis2013/DSCF0001.jpeg Here is another try. Aside from this plaque there is little or nothing in terms of monuments. One of the key areas, the village of Oorderen which was heavily fought over because it was the escape route for the Dutch army to the fort at Lillo, was razed...

Sure, just refer to it being the 2013 figure for Crisis. Hope to get one to paint in a few weeks.

Of the terrain : http://www.digam.net/tmp/digam_3623_1.jpg.pdf http://www.digam.net/tmp/digam_3625_1.jpg.pdf The area North of Antwerp was mostly polders. Some areas were floodlands behind dykes. It is flat terrain, mostly fields with few trees, high points would generally give a wide view. The Dutc...

Re: Crisis 2011

I did write a piece about the battle. Meanwhile the French had noticed this movement and the French commander, Marshal Villeroi, ordered Marshall Boufflers to hasten towards Antwerp with a force of 15 squadrons of cavalry, 15 of dragoons and 30 companies of Grenadiers, joining up with the commander ...

Re: Crisis 2011

It was great to meet you Barry. Loved your game and figures. If you are ever in the neighbourhood of the clubhouse, let us know and we'll give you a tour of the Ekeren battlefield (or what's left of it) BTW, Burkhard, the link you posted on your blog, Belgica is not the one we will be at, you should...

Because it's easier to go directly from work to the club on Fridays, I took my box of Vikings with me for a skirmish game. So I take the bus, and wary of dropping it I keep my hand on the box all the time, including the moment I have to get off. One finger on the handle and the driver hits the brake...

I have managed to drag several people of our club along to try out BLB. I have invested in research, but the lack of army lists and easily available one-source reference is putting off some people. I understand that such a thing would a lot of work. A second edition with more background material cer...

Time for an update.

I have pretty much puzzled the Dutch OOB together. And got a lot of the French units as well.

Still unsure about the uniforms for German units in Dutch service.
