Re: 16/17 June 2012 - English Civil War

Thanks for a great weekend again chaps. Thoroughly enjoyed all the small scenarios on Saturday and then the big Tiger hunt on the Sunday. Well done to Sherman ace Peter and thanks to Adrian and Barry for the organisation and to Dale for the admin and B&B. Will try to organise some photos. The ones t...

Re: 17th/18th MARCH 2012 - WILD WEST

Just back to reality after a sunny break in the Lake District. Amazingly lucky with the weather. Glad you all enjoyed the weekend and thanks to Bob for the pictures. I have a few of my own but not nearly as good - will post later. Thanks for all your help Peter and for the use of all those lovely bu...

Re: 17th/18th MARCH 2012 - WILD WEST

Very sorry to hear that you will not be able to make the Wild West Weekend Dave. I hope everyone else will still be available. March 17th/18th will come around all too quickly and it is never too soon to start thinking about it. I will send out all the Basic Stats, etc. after Christmas to let you co...

Re: NOVEMBER 19th/20th 2011 Vietnam

Yes, it was another great weekend. Thanks particularly to Peter who did the lion's share of the organisation despite serious work commitments. Thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the kit out on a table at last, some for the first time. Barry's photos do more than justice to the superb terrain. Interesting...

Re: The Alma - June 18th - 19th 2011

Where did the week go? Better late than never, I suppose. Bob, thanks again for a great weekend. Really enjoyed seeing all the Crimean figures out on a table at last. Glad to see the 57 boxes of lead made it safely home. With the useless Raglan killed off early on and with his equally useless replac...

Already it's a week since we were in Kirrie and here I am just getting round to saying a big thanks to Kevin and Adrian for organising and running the game and to Dale for his customary hospitality. Despite being on the losing side I thought my troops (or possibly my dice) punched considerably above...

Just wanted to add my belated thanks to Barry for all the hard work prior to and during the weekend to give us all such an entertaining time. The two days were quite different in style but both very entertaining despite the fact that all my scores were very negative. This could have something to do ...

I can't do much more than add my own to the praise already heaped on the organisers/umpires. Thanks to French and Prussians alike, even though they aren't. Really great terrain to fight over and rules to fight with. Fortunately Barry managed to hold on to part of Ligny to the bitter end as Peter rea...
