Re: Russian Grenadiers from Musketeer Mins

They seemed to have had standards after 1712 so I'd rather give people the option. And yes I'll be doing standing poses for them. Thanks for comments chaps.

Russian Grenadiers from Musketeer Mins

On the way to get molded are Russian Grenadiers, Grenadier command and some extra infantry command in Karpus hats. The miter for the drummer may be a bit suspect, but I think it make the unit look complete. I stand by to get slated by others that probably know better lol! http://i103.photobucket.com...

Re: Adventures 'oop North

First 9 figures done. Ironically I've run out of figures to finish the unit of 2 Sqn's, so I'll have to wait till I can get some casting from the UK.

Re: Russian Grenadier Standards

I must admit I'm skeptical that they had them. I may just have to do some creative packaging with options.

Re: Russian Grenadier Standards

Kinda what I figured tbh. I guess if I include an ensign people have the choice to use it or not.

Re: Swedish pikemen; gloves?

I didn't bother but people can always just paint the hands buff colored. You can't go wrong either way though.

Re: Russian Grenadier Standards

That's a great link, thanks for sharing it. So we can assume that Grenadier Regts didn't have flags before 1712?

So my other question would be is it worth putting ensigns in a Grenadier command pack? Would people prefer having a flag with them?

Russian Grenadier Standards

Does anyone know if the Russian Grenadier Regts carried Standards? I know the Guard did, but what about the line Grenadiers?

Re: Grand Alliance "converged grenadiers"

Great way of getting probably the most colorful unit on the table. Lovely painting too :)

Yes indeed. Swedes and Russians in March attack got molded this week. Grenadiers and Russian Guard next up in a couple of weeks. Then some dismounted dragoons for both sides.
