At the time of Blenheim in 1704 they were known as the Venningen Dragoons and only had two squadrons. These formed part of the 2nd line under the Duke of Württemberg-Teck - 36 Squadrons and brigaded with Hachenberg cuirassiers one squadron, Nagel Horse two squadrons, Erbprinz Württemberg cuirassier...

Let's wait for Tacitus to reply.

AFAIK in combat they wore buffcoats, with cuirass over it.
But before 1709 only two regiments had cuirasses - one being horse guards, another - 1st Jyske, that stayed in Denmark.

Ordering with OMM will save some bucks, even with shipment to EU.

Most English language works focus on Marlborough, Blenheim, Marlborough again, the evil Dutch deputies, the other evils obstructing Marlborough's ambitions, more on Blenheim and some odds and ends on Marlborough.
