Re: The raising of the Saxon Army 1810-1813

Gunter:

The unit is beautifully done; I am especially impressed with the rendering of the grey horse. Very well done. I can just see a whole regiment of Scotts Greys painted that well.

Cheers,

Artimas

P.S. I'm sorry - I still like your chair!

LOL. Of coarse I knew you have posted before, it's just that your latest post sounded like someone who just had found the thread. I have enjoyed Gunter's many threads; I think they're some of the best on this site.

Cheers,

I really like your dining room chair; oh by the way, the troops are impressive too!

(Just kidding, but I really do like the chair).

I am really impressed with your collection of Napoleonic Saxons, well painted and based figures...love the tufts of grass and flora.

Ray:

17 pages on this thread, and you're just now noticing?

Re: Hesse-Kassel Regiments for my Blenheim 1704 Project

The term "filler" means what in the US marketplace? For that matter what is it in French, Swedish, Dutch, etc?

Inquiring minds want to know....

I think that we all agree: you got your money's worth and then some!
Lovely figures and a fine looking unit! Now, don't let them get all shot up!

I am just now seeing your vignette and it is very well done. I am sure the officers would be pleased with your color selection!

Sounds like a lot of chaps are getting the Donnybrook fever! It's a very "catching" malady.
